My backstory with CBD
When I started taking CBD in 2018 I had no idea just how much of a difference it was going to make in my everyday life.
Initially I began taking it to try and minimize the chronic back and pelvic pain I was experiencing from a botched medical procedure, Essure - see my about page for more info on this.
After researching it for awhile and coming to the conclusion that CBD may be able to help, I took a chance and ordered some products.
Wow, what a change. I went from taking pain meds all the time to maybe twice a week (not narcotics, I'm talking Advil and Tylenol here). It has made a serious impact not only on the pain I was experiencing, but also my quality of life.
What I wasn't expecting was for it to help in other areas of my life.
As someone who is currently going through peri-menopause at a very young age (again, due to Essure), I was inflicted with all sorts of new feelings and emotions that were completely new to me - mainly anxiety and wicked mood swings, along with a fun helping of insomnia.
CBD has helped immensely in these areas as well, and I couldn't be more grateful. Anyways, enough about me, lets get to the Resolve CBD review!
My experience with Resolve CBD
First off, the way everything was packaged was great, no chance of anything breaking on its journey through the mail (if anything does happen to arrive damaged get back to them within 5 days and they'll work with you to resolve the issue).
I ordered the 500mg CBD oil and a pack of their gummies to review.
You can order Resolve CBD oil in concentrations from 300-1500mg. All of them are formulated with MCT oil and have two options for flavoring, which natural and peppermint.
The gummies that I got from the company are strawberry flavored, and come 5 to a pack, with 20mg of CBD in each gummy.
The information they included with the order was also a really nice touch.
There was a foldout that had information on how many mg of CBD per ml is in three of their most popular bottle sizes, a bit of info on some of their other products, and some answers to commonly asked CBD questions.
On the Resolve CBD website you'll find a lot of different information on how to take their products, a quiz to help you figure out which ones to choose, and more answers to any questions you may have.
Customer service with the company is great. I had a few questions that weren't immediately apparent, and I was easily able to obtain this information from the live chat option, which was answered right away.

They also included a handy dosage chart, which is great especially if you're a newcomer to CBD.
Dosing can be a bit of a challenge when you're first starting out. The best approach to take is to go low and slow, and gradually increase your dose until you find what works best for you personally.
I take around 40mg of CBD per day, and it took about 3 months to work up to that dosage. I notice a difference if I don't take that much, and I don't really notice any difference if I take more than that.
My favorite way to take CBD is by far the oils/tinctures. They are moderately bio-available, start to work in approximately 10-20 minutes, and the effects last for hours.
I like taking gummies and capsules as well, but I usually save these for night-time. Because they take longer to start working, I'll take them around 2-3 hours before I'm done my shift at work.
This way I'm nice and relaxed when I get home at night, and not all stressed from a busy shift.

I'll start off by saying I normally wouldn't order an oil that is peppermint flavored, for the sole reason that mint stuff generally gives me heartburn.
I'd been hearing lots of great things about this oil and particular flavor, however, and decided to take the risk. Slightly apprehensive as I took my first dose, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it very mild tasting, with little aftertaste and no burning chest. Yay!
I love that this oil is made with MCT. It is a popular choice for CBD companies, and is one of the most bio-available oils to use as a carrier. Bio-availability rate is the rate that your body absorbs and uses CBD.
I could feel the oil going to work right away, relieving stress and melting away anxiety. This is great to use in the morning if you're one of those people like me who tend to wake up a little anxious.
Continued use showed great results for the inflammation and discomfort in my back as well.
I like to mix my CBD into a little bit of lotion, it makes a great DIY topical that you can rub into your joints or muscles. This was great for localized relief in that area.
Because it was my first time ordering from the company I only got the 500mg bottle, but in the future I would order the 1500mg.
At my current dose of 40mg of CBD per day it lasted me just about two weeks, the 1500mg bottle would last me well over a month.

These gummies were absolutely delicious. They are strawberry flavored, one of my all time favorite flavors.
They are on the firmer side, but still very easy to chew, and pack a healthy 20mg of CBD in every gummy.
