What we are reviewing here today from Plant of Life CBD is their Full Spectrum CBD oil, their Sleep CBD Solution, one of their topical CBD products, and one of their vape pens.

From the time it took for my order to arrive (2 days) to the packaging, I could tell immediately that this wasn't "just another CBD company". Plant of Life Organic Full Spectrum CBD Oil - 2000mg

What makes up Plant of Life's most popular CBD oil? Designed as a whole plant extract to deliver all the benefits of CBD, their Full Spectrum oil contains both MCT and hemp seed oil as the carrier, has less than 0.3% THC, and is made from non-GMO, organically grown hemp plants.

Plant of Life has a number of different CBD solutions or blends on site that are designed to target varying conditions; sleep, sensual, focus, energy, and calm. Each solution contains a number of ingredients that act to enhance the natural qualities of the CBD itself.

Their CBD sleep solution comes in a 1200mg, 2 oz bottle and is available in Full Spectrum only. Made with MCT, hemp seed, and grape seed oil, this CBD solution also contains melatonin and several essential oils as well, including Chamomile, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, and Valerian.

When put together, all of this adds up to one peaceful night's sleep (at least that's what I was hoping for upon taking it!)

The oil tastes similar to their Full Spectrum CBD oil, but with more herbal undertones from the essential oils. I took this approximately 1 hour before I was set to go to sleep.

I've been taking CBD for over 3 years now, and the quality of sleep I've gotten from just regular CBD oil has been amazing, and this oil was no different. Upon taking it, it is easier to nod off, I stay asleep throughout the night with minimal tossing and turning, and feel rested when getting up in the morning.

The one downside (for me, at least), is that there is only one size available for this (1200mg). It would be great to see it in multiple size options.

Plant of Life Organic Broad Spectrum CBD Pain Stick

Plant of Life currently has one topical on site, their Broad Spectrum Organic CBD Heal Stick. Currently in development is their CBD cream, which after testing the stick out I am very much looking forward to.

Available in a Broad Spectrum formula only this pain stick comes in either 300mg or 700mg. Among the included ingredients are menthol crystals, hemp seed oil, Arrowroot, Arnica, Comfrey, Camphor,  and other essential oils.

Upon receiving my package from the company, I could faintly smell this product even before I opened the box. It has a great citrusy, mentholated herbal scent to it which I absolutely loved, however it is a bit strong once applied. I can see where some of the reviews stating it is overpowering come from, but the scent tends to dissipate quickly and shouldn't be an issue for most people.

I tested this product on my back, as it is an ever present source of discomfort for me due to an old injury. The topical stick rubs in nicely, doesn't leave a bunch of greasy residue, and the best part - works quickly to relieve tension and provide relief, especially when combined with their Full Spectrum oil.

Plant of Life Broad Spectrum Disposable CBD Vape Pen - 300mg

When CBD vapes first came out I tried a few of them, and for the vast majority I was underwhelmed. They were scratchy, didn't taste very good, and made me cough. This is coming from a person who already vapes, I can't imagine someone who doesn't already vape trying to take a haul of of one.

Fortunately, the CBD vape industry has come a long way in the past couple of years, which is evident in Plant of Life's CBD vape pen. 

Each vape pen on site comes in a package of 2, with 300mg of CBD in each pen. They come in a wide variety of flavours, including grape, strawberry, mango, blueberry, watermelon, and peppermint. 

The design is nice and sleek, with the outer coating feeling slightly rubbery, which gives it a good grip. To use, you simply draw on the top, no button pushing required.

While I wasn't the hugest fan of the grape flavour (reminded me of the chewable grape Tylenol given as a child), the vape was very smooth hitting, no hint of scratchiness, and only made me cough once. To be fair, I took about 5 hits back to back on this, so that's not surprising.

Dosing with CBD vape pens is kind of difficult, because you don't know how much you are getting in one shot. Generally, you'll want to take 1-2 pulls off it and give it little bit to see how you feel (I took more as I am a seasoned CBD user, and I take a healthy dose of CBD each day).

I could feel the CBD hit almost immediately, which is typical for CBD vape products. If you are someone looking for instant relief, vaping is the best way to go. Even better is when you combine products, such as using an oil for long lasting relief, and a vape for immediate relief and as a "top up". 

All in all, it is a product I would order again (looking at you, strawberry!)

The two products I sampled from EIR Health were both 1500mg - one is Full Spectrum, the other from CBD Isolate. 

EIR Health NO. 15 CBD Oil 1500mg

First up from EIR Health is the 1500 MG Full Spectrum CBD extract oil. This tincture is 1 oz and each serving is 50 MG, making for a pretty hefty dose.

The plant is noticed in flavor which is great for me. The impact was amazing! 50 MG is a great dose for me and that kicked in pretty fast.

I gave my mom some- her first-time consuming CBD tincture. Her ankle was in pain and I have her a full dose and she said she didn’t feel her ankle pain for 3 days.

Next from EIR was the 1500 MG pure isolate CBD oil. This tincture is a 1 oz, 50 mg per serving, CBD isolate, meaning, no THC.

I like a little THC so my favorite of the two was the full spectrum, but for those that can’t have, and don’t like THC, this isolate is a great choice.

The impact was nice, not as felt as the full spectrum for me, but I definitely felt the CBD in my system, leaving me with a brighter mood and better feeling all around.

The products I reviewed here are the CBD Magic Full Spectrum CBD Hemp Oil, CBD Magic water soluble CBD, CBD2Heal Pure CBD tincture, and CBD2Heal salve and tattoo aftercare.

CBD Magic Full Spectrum CBD Hemp Oil Tincture - 1000mg

CBD Magic has a ton of different options when it comes to their CBD oils. This particular formula is Full Spectrum, and comes anywhere from 500-4000mg of CBD.

They use a blend of MCT oil and hemp seed oil as the carrier oils, which is great because it gives you the best of both worlds; you get the high bio-availability rate of the MCT, and the amazing health benefits from the hemp seed oil.

The flavours available are natural and peppermint, and if you've hung around here a bit you'll know that I'm a huge fan of natural flavoured CBD oils. 

This one was great - full and earthy, with a pleasant hemp base, and next to no after taste. 

I ordered all of the products right before I was scheduled for surgery, and got the go ahead from the doctor to resume using my CBD right after.

I was in a lot of pain and was taking a full dropperful at a time (33.3mg). The oil went to work quickly, and while not getting rid of the pain (not even the heavy drugs could do that), it definitely muted it and relaxed me to the point where it was tolerable.

All in all, loved this product. Great taste, fast acting, and professionally sealed made it a win.

CBD2Heal Pure CBD Oil Tincture - 1000mg

Because CBD Isolate is virtually tasteless and odorless, combined with the MCT oil here there is pretty much zero flavour to this, and it only comes in natural, no peppermint option here. Highly recommended if you use Isolate products and are not a fan of the hempy taste that generally comes along with the oil.

I almost always use Full Spectrum products, just for the fact that they offer more in terms of health benefits and the Entourage Effect, but I like to judge a company on how effective their non-Full Spectrum products are as well.

Although this didn't have quite the same deep, relaxing feeling I got from the previous, Full Spectrum oil that I tried, the effects could still be felt. If you need to take CBD Isolate due to drug testing concerns or otherwise, this is the oil for you.

CBD Magic Water Soluble CBD Tincture - 250mg

This was a new experience for me. I tend to stick with just the CBD oils, as I've always found them to be the most effective, and longest lasting.

This is CBD Magic's "flagship product", and they are one of the very few in Canada to offer water soluble CBD. It is available only in 250mg, and comes with a much higher bio-availability rate than regular CBD oils.

The bio-availability rate is the rate that your body absorbs and uses the CBD that you ingest. The higher the rate, the more CBD your body is actually putting to use.

Just so we are clear on the subject, water soluble doesn't actually mean that the CBD is completely dissolved in water, rather the particles are made extremely small through nano-technology, and then coated with a safe, ingestible coating in order for it to be suspended in water.

The small particles are absorbed much easier, and at a higher volume, than normal CBD oils, leading to the high bio-availability rates.

After trying it, and reading some reviews that others have left, I can agree with them on the fact that the taste is a little bitter. I tested it out straight up, in water, and in my coffee, and would have to say that the coffee masked the bitterness completely, and is how I would recommend anyone to use it.

You may be wondering why this is only available in 250mg, and not any higher. The reason behind this is because of the higher bio-availability, this is just as effective as approximately 1000mg regular CBD oil.

I could feel this go to work almost instantly, and it would have been right up there for me in terms of the oil I liked the most from CBD Magic if it had either zero taste, or a better one. The bitterness threw me off a bit, but it is a product I would highly recommend trying for yourself if you can get past that.

The salve is formulated with Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Beeswax, CBD Isolate, Juniper Berry Essential Oil, Laurel Leaf Essential Oil, Copaiba Essential Oil, Cayenne Pepper Oil, and you can get it in original or peppermint if you want an extra cooling sensation along with it.

This was perfect for right after surgery, when I had more aches and pains than I could count. I was stuck sleeping on the couch as I wasn't able to maneuver in and out of bed (for over a month!). My back was pretty much ready to give out on me by the time I was healed enough to safely sleep in bed, and this helped so much in the meantime.

The product rubs on very smoothly, and has a pleasant medicinal smell to it. It soaks into the skin quickly and doesn't leave a lot of residue, though there is some.

A word of caution when you use this - due to the nature of some ingredients (ie. cayenne pepper oil), it is not recommended to be put on any area of broken skin, and do not get it into your eyes. It will burn! I made this mistake once, and will definitely not be repeating it any time soon.

Alright, see what had happened was… this was kind of a hard pill to swallow. But wait, it is not what you think. 

There was a slight technical difficulty in swallowing the capsule; the capsule has a white, hard shell that was a tad bit difficult to get down. This could have been just me though.

However, I enjoyed this product because the CBD helped with my cramps and slight headache. Honestly, that was an indicator to have a better THC to CBD ratio so it was time to roll up some herbs!

This was a good product to use for my menstrual symptoms, however, I NEED high potency cannabis products for my symptoms. 

In my personal experience, the CBD capsules were good, but the CBD tincture worked better.

So this Full Spectrum CBD balm from Lazarus Naturals can be used pretty much anywhere on the body, but what I used it specifically for in this case was my lips.

The product comes in either a 400mg or 1200mg jar, this particular one is lavender scented. They have a numberr of different scents to choose from, including rose, mint, cedar citrus, or unscented.

Now let me tell you somethin’. If your lip balm does not have CBD in it then you cannot sit with us. This balm is literally the bomb; the balm does not have an oily feel at all and has a light base when applying.

I am in love with Lazarus Natural’s naturally scented hand sanitizer. I cannot believe how real and FRESH this sanitizer is; I did not want to stop spraying on my hands.

The hand sanitizer comes in a spray bottle which is great because it eliminates excessive solution and mess. Plus, the application is not too watery or too thick.

The liquid’s consistency is comfortable when applying and is not messy. Lastly, I sprayed each side of my hands twice and the sanitizer did not take longer than 30 seconds to dry into my skin, leaving the skin fresh and moisturized.

Talk about love and potent! This tincture was definitely that.

At 1,500 MG of hemp in the tincture bottle and at 50 MG per serving- this full spectrum product has all of the cannabinoids working together to heal the body. I was able to feel it at onset and within a few minutes.

When it’s this potent- it’s felt that must faster and is very obvious when it sets in. The flavor had a hint of the plant because there was no added flavor- which I love, and includes hemp seed oil.

I prefer the tincture but see how someone that doesn’t like the taste of the plant would go for the soft gels.

You can’t taste the plant and it’s easier to measure the exact dose since 1 capsule totals 25 MG. This is also a good option for those that don’t want potent dosages, and prefer a microdosing approach. 

I started and finished the bottle with 2 capsules per dose because I like potent dosages of CBD. They take a little longer that the tincture to set in and for me. I couldn’t feel the impact right away when it hit, like I could the oil tincture.

But they still helped with relaxation for sure, and it was heightened by THC that I consumed with them.
